Sony Reinvents the Christmas Tree

The Japanese giant Sony introduced a Christmas tree that the user can remotely control using his smartphone.

The Christmas tree remains very entrenched in today’s traditions, this does not prevent a growing number of buyers to move to more modern solutions to decorate their home.

Sony presented this week its Christmas tree of the future. A tree “connected” by NFC tags, which allow the user to choose the colour of the lights, play music through the built-in speakers and even coordinate the two for a real show of lights and sound using just a smartphone.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to get it in store. Sony indicates that only a few prototypes were created and will be available in the UK through a series of competitions on social networks.
